When we designed the Lone Wolf single fin model we were picturing a board that wants to fly along the face on shoulder to head high waves. Early drop-ins, loading up into smooth bottom turns. A down the line flyer offering flowing high lines, to sitting tight in the pocket, yet still capable of cutting back and making drawn out turns. 

The Lone Wolf features a wide-point forward to provide ample volume under the chest, which is good for paddle power and early take offs.  The pulled in pin tail creates great hold in the wave face on those critical sections.  A single concave with a vee out through the tail offers lots of drive under the front foot and good rail to rail transitions. Modern 60/ 40  rails.
