Bob Simmons was the first person to understand and apply the science of hydrodynamics to surfboard design way back in the late 1940’s.  His knowledge gained from naval architecture research led him to develop a radical new design incorporating features unheard of in surfing at the time. These features still remain essential in today’s modern surfboard designs.

Our Night Owl model is inspired by the evolution of the Mini-Simmons and remains true to the many design principles laid down by Simmons. The elements combine to offer a super-efficient surfboard that paddles effortlessly, glides and trims with speed to burn. Excellent in smaller fast breaking waves.
